Legacy of many decades...
Lala Pritam Das Jewellers has its origins in the city of Lahore in colonial India. Shri Bishan Das Sehgal started the gold bullion trade after retiring from the Punjab Northern State Railways. He eventually settled at the Maachi Hatta bazaar, which continues to be a part of the old Lahore to this day.
His son, Late Shri Pritam Das Sehgal built the business and decided to venture into the fascinating realm of exquisite jewelry and precious stones. He went on to achieve great success by opening the first showroom “Pritam Das Sehgal Sarraf”.
He relocated to Agra, India, amid the 1947 riots to serve under the gracious Radhasoami Huruz Mehta ji Maharaj.
From the late 1940s untill the mid-60s, he carried on the heritage at DayalBagh, Prem Nagar colony under the tutelage of the gracious Radhasoami Huruz Mehta ji Maharaj. His son, Late Shri Gurditta Sehgal, succeeded him in 1960 and thrived there till the early 2000s. He additionally established another branch at shop No. 14, Heera Market, Dayal Bagh, Agra.
Mr Soami Dayal Sehgal joined the legacy since school days and mastered the business from a very young age with an aim to take the forefathers name to star level and never added his own name to take the credit.
The business now excel as Lala Pritam Das Jewellers where tradition meets timeless elegance. We have been passionately dedicated to the art of crafting exquisite jewellery pieces of all generes be it Gold, Diamond, Kundan, Gemstones, Silver jewellery etc since generations and being able to sustain the trust of thousands of families pan- India since many decades.
